About This Piece

Circus – This is one of the detailed watercolor animal illustrations that I have completed.

Clownfish are one of my favourite fish species and I had a lot of fun capturing their playful nature, reflected in the title of the painting “Circus”

Painting this one was a true joy and discovery of different watercolours techniques. From the blurry watercolor abstract background to the stippling effect on the sea rocks. It was as challenging as it was fun.

This features not just in my watercolor artist portfolio but I also chose to hang this on the wall in my home.

Here are some of my selected pieces of art. I’ve chosen those that I feel capture my imagination and creative flair.

While I am predominantly a botanical artist, I don’t limit myself to floral subjects. I also like to connect with animals, plants, people & fun illustrative ideas that challenge the way we see ordinary objects.. I enjoy working with colourful subjects and exploring how far I can push those colours within my work.

Watercolours are my main passion however I have started to branch out into the gouache medium and play with the exciting capabilities of it.
